The Celebration Open House will begin with the front doors wide open for Sunday school at 9:45 AM and the worship service at 11:00 AM. Paul Saik, the celebrated vocalist and pianist whose passion is leading people in worship, will perform during the worship service. Everyone is invited. The afternoon concert begins at 3:00 PM.

At 3:00 PM, the doors, hearts and minds of First Church will be open for a much anticipated concert by Saik in the church sanctuary. You will hear the various styles of music he has performed during his career; everything from opera and Broadway, to organ, piano and vocal solos. But everything leads to his desire to bring comfort, guidance and the presence of God to each listener, so that they may know that God truly loves them. Saik says, “I don’t know why God has blessed me with the talents He has, just as He blesses every person with their own…but I want to use them to honor Him, to thank Him, to lead others in worshipping Him. My prayer is that all who see how I live my life, find Him in me.” From the time Paul Saik was a small child, he has touched the lives of many with his talents and love of music. An accomplished vocalist and pianist, Paul is living his purpose with every breath and every step…armed with a passion for sacred music and a sincere desire to reach others with the powerful message of Christ’s love. A love offering will be accepted. Following the concert, Paul will be available for autographs and sales of his CD’s. To hear a sample of Paul’s work check his website at www.paulsaik.com.

The Tiptonville First United Methodist Church will have its front doors open for those who would like to come in and pray on Thursday mornings from 10:30 – 11:00 a. m. Everyone is welcome to come and sit in a pew or come to the altar or join a prayer group. We are living in some very troubling times, and God listens to our concerns. The invitation is open for everyone not just Methodists. We will have someone available if a person needs help talking to God. Billy Graham said, “Heaven is full of answers to prayers for which no one ever bothered to ask.
